Study Groups
We hold a number of different study groups that are free and open to the public. Anyone interested who wants to learn or is willing to teach is welcome to attend.
New! Apocalypse Survival Study Group - Every fourth wednesday of the month we will be holding this new study group that aims to prepare people for the zombie/robot/nuclear/global-warming/reality-television apocalypse.В The study group focuses on survival and emergency preparedness.
Python Study Group – Every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8pm we gather people of all levels of programming experience and study the Python Programming Language.В The group is open to anyone who wishes to learn about the Python programming language, including non-programmers, programmers new to Python, and programmers experienced with Python who wish to sharpen their skills.
Amateur Radio Study Group – Every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8pm we meet to study all aspects of ham radio.В Anyone interested in getting their ham license or learning more about the hobby is welcome to attend.
New! Microcontroller/Embedded Study Group – Every 4th Thursday of the month at 8pm we meet to study Microcontrollers (such as the AVR and Arduino) and Embedded devices (like the Beagle Board). Stop by and bring a microcontroller related project to work on, pick our brains, or share your expertise.
