Learn to solder, learn to knit, and make a glowing-eyed monster that runs on dead batteries.
Students will learn to read a schematic, prototype a circuit on a solderless breadboard, and solder the final circuit on a printed circuit board. The example circuit amplifies the power of a battery that would otherwise be considered dead, and drives two LEDs for up to a week of continuous use.
Students will also learn a few basic stitches that will allow them to craft a small stuffed monster.
Registration is $25 and will be collected at Fallout Shelter Comics the day of the class. Materials included.
